History of Texas in National Flags

Texas has had a varied history of National Flags flying over it's soil. I tend to remember most of them, but also to get stumped repeatedly over just one. If you read them through and count the images of the flags vs. their names, it looks like more than six. But each image has a story about why it appears distinct from our expectations.
